Okay, so who's bright idea was it...

To come up with toe-up socks?! I've decided to try some new things, hence the swatch and entrelac below and now I've decided to try toe-up socks. Okay, so I did the crochet provisional cast on, ahem, really? Did not like it! So, when does it really work to "unzip" the crochet?

I have come to the conclusion that toe-up socks are not for me! I checked out my handy little book, "Knit Speak" which I rely on for many answers. I tried the crocheted cast on and still the "unzip" feature, thus the conclusion, not for me!!!

Now off to find yet another pair of lacy socks that require the knitting to start at the top and work my way down to the toe as was meant to be.
