Time to spin...

Okay, I have been doing some research and now think I may be ready to get started spinning my own yarn. I have been in contact with some awesome people who have been providing much needed info from beginning spinning, what books to check out and where to find instructions on how to make my own spindle. So, while I'm at my LYS today I will definitely be checking for the books suggested as well as asking questions about the fibers I need to get started, this is so exciting!

My new little seedlings are still waiting to get outside for a bit. I have told them for the last couple of days and now they have prepared themselves, however, the weather just seemed to cool in the afternoon to put them out so they've had to wait. Today looks promising, but, maybe tomorrow is better. I just don't want them to get shocked; they are growing so awesome right now, I can't wait for them to start producing all those wonderful veggies.
I'm a little concerned about some of my flower seedlings, and the peas and carrots have not yet sprouted, hmm...may have to re-start these. We'll see...

I've lost another pound! That makes 21 lbs gone since Nov 2007, hooray! I've been eating healthy and going to the gym, riding my bike, and walking. It's really paying off.

I just need to sew the parts together for my May kitty swap. Little Cotton Candy turned out very pretty. I used Knit Picks Crayon in pink. It's a great color. Speaking of Knit Picks, I just rec'd part of my summer sampler order. The Georgian collection, all I can say is WOW, love, love, love the colors. I can't wait for the Victorian to arrive, it's on back order. I'm not sure I'll use all the patterns that come with these samplers, but they'll be fun to make for someone. There's always a birthday or just-because gift that can be made.

~Almost time to get to the gym, I'd better get going...
