From January to August...

Wow, it's been a while! From January to now August and without a post!
I have been working on finishing up last year's projects and just getting outside, which I need to do today! Here's the latest of last year's projects to finally be finished...
I made it a little longer so I can wrap it around fashionably (~: And then I also have a pair of Birdwalk socks I am working on now... I've been noticing thru my project pix that the central theme is either purple or blue; what's up with that? My favorite color is green! But then again, I do love all colors and when a fibre calls to me it doesn't matter the color.

The weather seems to be more fall of late than summer. With this comes the tug of starting new projects for fall and winter. So, with that said, off I went to the LYS and purchased the latest copy of IK. I have been keeping up with this publication online and find myself wanting to try everything (what's new?!). I have a beautiful sweater that I have been wanting to make since I first saw something like it in a shop in Portland. Red! I even swatched it; super easy pattern...now to get it started. Yeah, now's a good time to do that...right after I get back from my walk. It's too nice out right now to stay in the house. I think I'll walk down to Soft Horizons. Hey, there's nothing wrong with having a destination, right?

~I'll be right back...
